The Federal Ministry of Finance through its Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) has concluded a 3-day Career Development and Entrepreneurship Skills training for 94 graduates in Kebbi State.
The graduates had undergone one year internship and mentoring training at various organizations in the state.
A guest speaker at the event and Kebbi State Director of Education Resources Centre, Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Bena, thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for allowing the Graduate Internship Scheme to continue as the interns have played significant role in bringing education to many rural schools in the state. 
The Lead Facilitator, Mr. John Emore, said the scheme remains a tool to reduce crime and youth restiveness as it equips the beneficiaries for self-employment. 
Speaking on behalf of the graduating interns, Mallam Nafiu Bunza Riskuwa, thanked the federal government for the scheme, saying they benefitted from it without lobbying.
