LASU matriculates 5,500, warns against hooliganism

The Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, has warned the newly matriculated 5,500 students of the institution against hooliganism, cultism, drug abuse and all forms of violence.
Prof. Fagbohun who gave the warning during the 2018/2019 matriculation, said over 42,000 applied for various courses and that they were the lucky ones.
He, therefore, encouraged them to engage in productive activities and abide by the values and principles of the institution.
“The institution propels her students to pursue their dreams provided you abide by the values and principles of our institution. You will get to realise as you progress in your studies that LASU is synonymous with academic innovations, cutting edge research and academically active students,” he said.
