Over a thousand youths have converged on Kaduna metropolis, employing the use of creative arts to bridge the divide between communities separated by religious differences and promote peaceful coexistence in the state.
The programme is tagged: “Arts and Vibes”, convened by Suchet Baba.
The organiser said Kaduna State has been divided along religious lines for long where the Muslims largely live in the northern part of the state while the Christians live in the South and are divided by a bridge.
She said the programme, among others, is targeted at bridging the gap and connecting people from different parts of the state through the showcasing of their talents in poems and arts, among others.

“These youths are using mediums like poetry, painting, music, and art exhibitions to convey messages about the necessity of bridging this gap, believing that art can transcend barriers,” Baba said.
Also, a Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI, who was the guest poet, said the government needed to intervene and safeguard the creative industry.
