At the scene, Bashir said, “We were coming from Lugbe to work. The road safety officials always stay at the junction. When I was approaching the junction, there was a vehicle in front of me. I discovered that they wanted to stop the car but the driver did not stop.
“The road safety officials in their van started chasing the vehicle. We were in between the FRSC van and the vehicle being chased. Unfortunately, it was my car they (road safety) hit from behind.
“My pregnant wife is seven months gone. She has been taken to the hospital.”
