A 29-year-old suspected member of the Black Axe secret cult, Seun Olatunbosun, was arrested on Wednesday when he and some members of his gang invaded a motor park in the Fadeyi area of Lagos with a view of installing a new leader.
The suspects, armed with dangerous weapons, arrived the Maruwa park around 3pm, chasing away members of the union.
In the process, the suspects injured some of the transport union members and some passengers who were present at the time of their arrival.
On arrival, some of the thugs headed straight to the union’s office but met with stiff resistance from security men on duty.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said it took the timely arrival of policemen from Onipanu Division to restore normalcy to the park.
