One person, on Tuesday, died while three others sustained injuries when operatives of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) attached to the Federal Operating Unit (FOU), Ikeja, Lagos, clashed with some youths in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Our correspondent gathered that trouble started when stray bullets allegedly fired by the customs officers, who reportedly acting on a tip-off regarding smuggling activities, hit a resident of the area.

It was gathered that the atmosphere became charged when the deceased’s kinsmen engaged the customs officers with dangerous weapons.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident, saying only one person died while three others were injured in the clash.
