1 feared killed as rival gangs clash in Jos South

There was pandemonium on Saturday night at Gwarandok community in Jos South LGA of Plateau State following a fight by members of two rival gangs.

Sources told our correspondent that the violence, which grounded commercial and other activities, led to the killing of one person, with five others sustaining injuries.

When contacted, spokesperson of police in the state, DSP Alabo Alfred, explained that, “Two persons who were found lying on the ground at the scene of the incident were taken to the hospital. One later died while the other one is in a critical condition. It was a fight between two youth groups.”
