At least 10 children have been killed in a cholera outbreak in Chanchangi town in Takum LGA of Taraba State.
It was learnt that the outbreak started on Tuesday.
Daily Trust learnt that three days ago, some children between the ages of four and 10 started vomiting and having stomach pains in the town.
It was gathered that within two days more than 10 children died in the town.

Daily Trust further gathered that health personnel from the state’s Ministry of Health and the health department of Takum LGA were dispatched to the area to control the outbreak.
In a conversation with Daily Trust on the phone, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Bodiya Buma, confirmed the outbreak of the disease.
