Ten people have been injured in a separate accidents which occurred on Wednesday evening at Gada Biyu village on Abuja-Lokoja road.

A witness said the first accident happened at about 6: 23 pm and involved a truck with registration number MDB 36 XA.

He said the truck driver lost control in a bid to avoid a pothole and crashed into a ditch, which he said left eight people wounded.

He said the second accident occurred at about 7:37 pm and involved another truck with registration number BT 05 KUJ and a motorcycle.

He said the cyclist and his passenger were injured and taken to the hospital by men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Abaji.

When contacted, the Abaji unit commander of the FRSC, ACC Olasupo Esuruoso, confirmed the two accidents, saying the injured victims were taken to Abaji general hospital for treatment.
