The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) has intensified the drive to digitalise education, saying no fewer than 100,000 private school students will receive learning devices in the next three years in Lagos.

The President of NAPPS Lagos, Chief Alaka Yusuf Lukman, disclosed this in a statement, saying that the provision of the learning devices named ‘Success Tab’ would be achieve through the partnership with Chronicles software development company.

‘This initiative is a game-changer for education in Lagos. SuccessTAB will not only bridge the gap in digital learning for thousands of students, but it also underscores our unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to the resources they need to excel academically,” he said.

He added that the innovative educational device would revolutionise learning in private schools, stressing the need to equip students with the tools needed to thrive in a tech-driven world.

“This partnership is a testament to our dedication to closing the digital divide and preparing students for a future where technology is integral to every aspect of life,” he said.

Chronicles Software CEO, Oluwakoyejo Oluwatosin, added that the phased rollout will prioritise schools with the greatest need based on factors such as infrastructure, student population, and economic status.

He added that the learning device is enriched with educational content and an immersive learning experience, complete with self-paced quizzes, textbooks, and practice materials, making learning more engaging and effective for students.

“It also provides access to past exam questions for WAEC, BECE, and JAMB, along with interactive resources to boost student performance.

“In addition to providing students with the SuccessTAB devices, Chronicles Software Development Company will offer teacher training programs to ensure the effective integration of digital tools into classroom learning,” he said
