10th house under Abbas won’t be docile — Rep. Agbese

Member representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency of Benue State in the Green Chamber, Philip Agbese, Wednesday said the 10th House of Representatives under Speaker Tajudeen Abbas (APC-Kaduna) won’t be docile.

Agbese, who said this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja, lauded the emergence of Abbas during the speakership election of June 13, saying the result showed that he is loved by all members of the house.

The APC lawmaker said the 10th house is a united one and there won’t be any docility.

“We have had a few sittings after our inauguration and Nigerians can attest to that, that the debate had been healthy and powerful.

“I don’t see a docile house, rather I see a house that will live up to its expectations; I see a house that will fulfill its mandate; I see a house that will deliver on the expectations of the Nigerian people.

“I also see a house that the international community, for the first time in the history of our country, will be proud to say. Yes indeed, in Nigeria, there is a parliament,” he said.
