The police in Lagos State have arrested two security men, Enoch Patrick and Safuwan Mohammed, for allegedly gang rapping a 12-year old girl on October 19, 2023, on Comfort Oboh Way in the Kirikiti area.

Lagos State Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, explained that on October 29, 2023, the mother of the girl was at the Kirikiti Division in company of the victim to report that on October 28, she noticed that her daughter could not sleep throughout the night.

He said, “She said she took her daughter to a chemist where the daughter opened up to them that on October 19, around noon, when she (mother) was at work, she came downstairs and the guard, Enoch Patrick (19), appealed to her to help him with some food. The daughter said she went upstairs to get him rice and beans during which the guard lured her into his security room, while his friend, Safuwan Mohammed, stood outside as sentry, watching the movement of people in and out of the compound.

“She said the daughter told her that while they were inside Enoch brought out his penis and asked her if she knew the name. She said her daughter told her that she fainted and that when she regained consciousness she saw blood coming out from her private part.”
