From my understanding the article is intended to achieve two things. Firstly, it is to denigrate the person of Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State and secondly to malign and intimidate Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Jalo and my humble self.
I am not competent to defend Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso because he is personally capable of doing that directly or through his aides.
I confess that in my 13 years (the best of part of my valuable life) as a senior member of Buhari project, I don’t know Ibrahim Mohammed Jalil. He himself accepted that fact and called me a former top ally of General Buhari. That is a statement of fact that can’t be denied or erased from Buhari’s political history, whether acknowledged or not. Whatever anybody may say, the fact still remains that I contributed my widow’s might towards the projection and promotion of General Buhari as a politician at a time when those (yan kwanta kwanta) who for personal reason hover around him today because they felt that, he was an aberration and poison that could not be touched.
Some of us have suffered denials, depri-vation and opportunities, just because of our association with the General. We had lost friends and suffered humiliation in the hands of security agencies for this association. Alhaji Sule Yahaya Hamma and I have never shown any interest to use the General to secure any elective or appointive office but were generously offered which we rejected, and the world knows.  
Pseudo-Ibrahim Mohammed Jalil ought to know, there had been people who worked with General Buhari when he was in the military, public service, politics and school. Where are they in his political project today? Hausa people say, da na gaba ake auna zurfin ruwa; you measure the depth of the river with the man in front.
Pseudo-Jalil should find out why kings, rich people, revered malamai seldom divorce their wives, yet they are the most traumatized group by women. I regard the likes of Jalil and those who sent him as passersby (‘yan ci rani or bakin haure) who will likely leave the General if they can’t get what they are there for or if they get good offered elsewhere. What is going for us is time and patience.
I would want to request pseudo Ibrahim Jalil to tell me his true identity and those of his sponsors.
I would want to finally say that, there will be no (Shamaki) third party between us and General Buhari. People should try to promote the General, rather than make more enemies for him.
Lastly as a statesman and a patriot, I am not prepared to say anything until the General speaks himself because I am not sure that these intruders speak for him or his mind.
