Fourteen passengers sustained injuries after two buses collided at Ahoko village, along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
A witness said the accident happened in the early hours of Monday, when a commuter 18-seater bus coming from the Lokoja axis overtook another vehicle and collided with another bus coming from the Abuja end.
He said 14 passengers, all males, from the two buses, sustained injuries and were evacuated to Abaji General Hospital by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the area.
An official of the FRSC, who was part of the rescue operations, confirmed the accident.

He attributed the accident to over speeding and dangerous overtaking.
