The police in Lagos State have arrested 14 suspected traffic robbers at various locations on the Lekki–Epe Expressway.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, who disclosed this, explained the arrests in a post on her X handle, @AbimbolaShotayo, on Tuesday.

She explained: “The arrests, which were conducted during sustained patrols and intelligence-led operations, are part of ongoing efforts by the command to curb traffic-related crimes and enhance the safety of motorists and other road users along this busy corridor.”

She said the development underscored the command’s firm commitment to improving security and maintaining law and order along the Lekki–Epe axis.

She noted that the tactical squad remained proactive in identifying crime hotspots and responding swiftly to threats posed by criminal elements. (NAN)
