Avengers: Infinity War
Marvel is probably going to have one of their best years ever this 2018 with so many movies lined up for release. After 18 movies and 3 years since the events of Age of Ultron, the crossover we’ve all been waiting for is finally upon us. In Infinity War, the Avengers face the villain Thanos and attempt to stop him from acquiring the Infinity Stones. It promises more action and thrill than all the past Marvel movies we’ve seen.

Ocean’s 8
Who can forget one of the greatest movies of the early 2000s era? This new spinoff features some of the biggest female actresses of the present generation including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna where they pull a grand heist of jewels at the Met Gala. Also, there are 21 cameo appearances (and counting) in the movie which include Kim Kardashian and one of the original cast members, Matt Damon.

The trailer for Amina has grappled the attention of potential watchers with outstanding visuals, well-choreographed action scenes and a start studded cast. Black Panther
The first official black superhero movie is finally getting the recognition it should on the big screen. After T’Challa of Wakanda made his debut in Captain America: Civil War, the news of him having his own standalone movie was an absolute thrill. The movie has already been tagged the “blackest movie ever” and will certainly bring more afrofuturistic tones to cinema.

14 years later, after all this while, Pixar return with Incredibles 2. One of this years most anticipated animated movies takes us back to the family of a husband, wife and their three kids that all have special powers. This times with a new villain called The Underminer surfaces, the family suits up again to fight him and save the day.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Grindelwald
Harry Potter prequel and sequel to 2016’s movie of the same name will bring more magic to the screen. But this time, we discover more on the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald and also, a young Dumbledore whose friendship with Gellert had raised eyebrows before. Many questions will be answered on how Dumbledore, with the help of Newt Scamander brought him down.

Deadpool’s fist installment was a great success. The R rated superhero movie broke so many records. The sequel will obviously include more jokes, cartoon like violence, blood and time travelling as well. But seeing as Fox Entertainment’s assets have been bought by Disney, this may be the last we see of Deadpool.

Aquaman
Playing one of the pivotal characters in DC’s 2017 Justice League alongside Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and The Flash, he will be taking on the King of the Ocean in his own movie where we also learn about the mythology behind the superhero and the Atlantis like never before.

Many believed we had seen the last of the dinosaur adventures when the third and final movie of the franchise came out back in 2001.
