A medical team of Renewed Hope has offered free diagnosis, treatment and drugs to 1500 elderly and vulnerable persons in Yobe State.
The medical outreach was sponsored by a Philanthropistm Engr. Muhammad Maihaja.
Hundreds of patients were diagnosed and given appropriate medications.
Speaking shortly after the flags-off of the outreach at Nguru Emir’s Palace, Maihaja said the beneficiaries were selected from 5 political wards of Nguru LGA.
Represented by his cousin, Muhammad Yunusa Maihaja, he said all the selected people were supported with free consultation and provided them with malaria and typhoid drugs as well as other minor ailments drugs.
According to him, the outreach was meant to complement the effort of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as part of his Renewed Hope agenda.
In his remark, the Program Implementation Officer, Abdulazeez Yakubu Hassan, said the program is targeting 5000 people with enough drugs and other medical equipment.
He also assured the general public that the professionals executing the outreach, one can conclude that the services being rendered are of premium quality.
