Kafur and Katsina, respectively the local governments of both Katsina state governor Aminu Masari and his Deputy Mannir Yakubu, are among the 16 local governments that have failed to show up at the opening of Katsina state Agricultural show.
Others are Baure Dutsi, Maiadua, Sandamu, Zango, Bakori, Faskari, Funtua, Kankara, Malumfashi, Musawa, Sabuwa, Dutsinma, and Jibia.
Daily Trust reports that of the 34 local governments in the state, only 18 have displayed their products at the show taking place at Kafin Soli in Kankia Local government. No reason was given for their absence.
The deputy governor Yakubu who also serves as the commissioner of agriculture had told the gathering that government is committed advancing the Agric base of the state through collaboration and effective policies.
