No fewer than 162 stranded Nigerians in Libya arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos in the early hours of Tuesday.
They were received by officials of the Federal Government led by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

The Afriqiyah flight which conveyed the Returnees arrived the airport by 2:10am.
The Returnees were brought back to the country by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) through the Voluntary Repatriation Programme for the distressed who had left the country to seek greener pasture in various European countries.
Daily Trust reports that IOM in its 20 years of operation in Nigeria had facilitated return of over 22,000 stranded Nigerians in several countries.
The breakdown of the latest returnees included 98 female adults 28 male adults, 19 female children, five male children, nine female infants and three male infants.
Amongst the Returnees were five with various degrees of health related issues, according to NEMA coordinator in the state, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye.
Agencies on the ground that received the Returnees are Port Health Unit of the Federal of Health, Nationaal Commission for Resilience, Migration and IDPs, NEMA and the Nigerian Immigration Services.
