Governor Ibrahim Shema who was speaking when he received officials of the state chapter of NULGE noted that this shows that the demand for houses is very high.
 According to him, several application are still coming in and noted that unfortunately only 250 houses are available at the Kabukawa and wondered why the estate is the most sought after in the state.
 He said, giving the demands, his administration may consider embarking on new estates to meet the increasing demands of the populace and he assured that all sectors would be considered when allocations commence.
 Meanwhile construction work is almost completed at the estate which comprises of two and three bedroom houses.  
When Daily Trust visited the estate, finishing touches were going on while fencing of the estate has just begun.
