Operation Safe Haven, the multi security task force maintaining law and order in Plateau state as well as parts of Bauchi and Kaduna states has paraded four suspected gun runners including a 19 year old that specialises in fabricating locally made guns. 

OPSH Commander, Major General Rogers Nicholas said while parading the suspects that two of the suspects had been arrested a few days ago in Jos and that their arrest had led to the tracing and arrest of two others in Mangu local government area of the state. 

He said the taskforce will continue to mop-up weapons from the hands of civilians and warned that anyone caught will be dealt with. 

However, the 19 year old, Eric Labari told journalists that he had been a student at Technical College Mangu before he dropped out due to challenges of school fees. 

He said the guns were sold for N11, 000 each and that he is capable of designing and fabricating different types after making a sketch.
