‘There was a country,’ the last book written by renowned Nigerian author, Prof. Chinua Achebe before his death, is Mercy Abang’s latest good read. The famous blogger who has a large followership, said she read the book to understand Nigeria and its dynamics during the civil war.
“To be honest, it was an eye-opener. As a people, I encourage my generation to read more so we can understand Nigeria better,” she said.
