2 arraigned over theft of bike

The Ekiti State Police Command has charged two men, Adejo Emmanuel and Peter Temidayo, before an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court over alleged theft of a ladies’ motorbike.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the suspects on August 25 at about 11pm at Ado-Ekiti conspired to steal.
Inspector Oriyomi said the defendants on the same date, time and place stole one ladies’ motorcycle valued at N1,200,000.00, property of one Suleiman Sunday.
Counsel to the defendants, Barrister Adunni Olanipekun, urged the court to grant them bail.

The Magistrate, Mr Abayomi Adeosun, granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case to October 22.
