The police in Yobe State have arrested two suspects for stealing diesel from a transformer in Jakusko LGA.
The command’s spokesman, DSP Dungus Abdulkareem, told newsmen that a team of policemen in conjunction with vigilantes led by ASP Lukman Usman, while on patrol, intercepted and arrested the suspects along Jakusko-Gololo road.

He said the suspects, Bala Saidu of Numan LGA of Adamawa State and Suraja Adamu of Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State, were arrested with eight jars of diesel and a pipe.
He added that during interrogation the suspects confessed to the crime.
