Two men, Ademola Adekunle and Okon Bassey, have been arrested in Ogun State following a complaint by the second suspect, Bassey, who reported at the Onipanu, Ota, police divisional headquarters on Wednesday August 29, 2018 that Adekunle was threatening his life.

During interrogation, Adekunle told the police Bassey had promised to give him the sum of N20,000 if he agreed to be his sex partner after a friend he mentioned as Mandela had match-made the two of them.

He further alleged Bassey had since then sodomised him three times, consequent upon which he had been bleeding profusely in the anus, adding he became very angry when Bassey bluntly refused to pay him the promised N20,000.

The police referred Ademola to a hospital for treatment following a medical report confirming that his anus had been violently tampered with.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident.
