The defendants are Idris Abdullah (35), Salisu Abdullah (25), Umaru Laulo Siddi (26), and Yahuza Abdulrahman (20).
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that on March 3, 2025, at about 10:00 pm at Oke-Ako-Ekiti within the Ikole-Ekiti area, the defendants and others at large stole 25 cows valued at N10,000,000, property of Mrs. Rachael Fuluso Adebayo.
Inspector Oriyomi further alleged that on January 20, 2026, at about 4:00 pm in Ikole-Ekiti, the defendants were found unlawfully armed with dangerous weapons in a public place without lawful authority, with the intent to cause terror.
They were also accused of unlawfully grazing cattle on unauthorized farmland.
Defense counsel, Barrister Adunni Olanipekun, urged the court to admit the defendants to bail, assuring the magistrate that they would not jump bail.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr. Abayomi Adeosun, granted each defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
The case was adjourned until February 10, 2026, for hearing.
