2 charged with stealing food in Ekiti supermarket

The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned two men, Moses James (35) and Isah Kabiru (20), in a magistrates’ court sitting in Ado-Ekiti over alleged stealing of food items.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the suspects on August 31, at a popular supermarket in Ado-Ekiti, stole food items valued at N72,180.00.
Counsel to the defendants, Barrister Mayowa Olawoye, Tolulope, urged the court to grant them bail.
The Magistrate, Abayomi Adeosun, granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety each in like sum and adjourned the case to October 22.
