 Two corp members died in a road crash near Rimin Gado local government area in Kano state after they left their camp in Zamfara state following its closure on Tuesday, Daily Trust gathered.

The  corps members, one from Kano and the other from Bauchi states, left the NYSC orientation camp in Tsafe local government area of Zamfara and were on relocation to Jigawa state when they had a ghastly road crash.

Sources told Daily Trust that the bus conveying them had a burst tyre and then skidded off the road before it crashed  killing two of them and injuring several others.

The injured hospitalized at a medical facility in Kano state.

One of  deceased was also reported to have been a very active person while on the camp. He was known by many corp members.

The state coordinator of the NYSC Ramatu Sanda has confirmed the incident and prayed for Allah’s mercy for those who lost their lives.
