Barely a week after three decomposed corpses of suspected bandits were found in the Nasarawa-Azzara Forest in Kachia LGA after troops raided a bandits’ hideout, two more bullet-ridden corpses have been discovered in neighbouring Kuchimi Forest in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.

Confirming the discovery to our reporter on Sunday, a resident, Danjuma Saleh, said the corpses were discovered in the early hours of Saturday by hunters.

Saleh said, “The hunters who discovered the corpse came and reported to the village chief. Some villagers mobilised to the forest and saw the corpses which were already decomposing.”

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, was yet to confirm the development.
