Two young men identified as Usman and Abba have been given 10 strokes of the cane each on the orders of Kano Shari’a Court sitting in Kura LGA for attempting to steal rice at a farm.
They were charged with conspiracy to commit crime and attempted stealing. Both pleaded guilty to the charges.
The Khadi, Ibrahim Isa Usman, after the punishment was carried out, warned them to be of good behaviour.
