Khadi Mallam Nura Yusuf Ahmed o f a Kano State Sharia court sitting in Kwana Hudu has sentenced two youths to 21 months each in prison in addition to 60 strokes of the cane each for conspiracy, trespass, possession of arms and theft.

The defendants, 26-year-old Shamsu Ahmed and 27-year-old Zailani Ya’u, allegedly trespassed into the residence of Abubakar Balarabe Moh’d (SAN) and stole two solar batteries, N100,000 and a generator worth N200,000.

The suspects pleaded guilty when the prosecutor, Aliyu Abidin Murtala, read out the charges levelled against them.
