The third person, a woman, sustained gunshot wounds and is in hospital.
The source accused people of Kono in Boue community of being responsible for the attack.
He stated that the Police and other security agencies have moved into the community to restore normalcy and pointed out that no arrest was made.
A resident of Bori town who pleaded anonymity because of the tense security situation in the area told our reporter that residents heard gunshots around, Ka-Bori communities close to Bori town at about 6 am, saying that the shooting lasted for 35 minutes.
In the meantime, the Public Relations Officer of Kono/Boue Community Development Committee, Golden Nwibakpo, has denied the allegation that the people of his community were behind the attack.
Nwibakpo said his community has been deserted saying that his people are roaming about Bori and do not have the time for such an attack.
On August 23, three persons were killed in Kono/Boue community.
When contacted Rivers State Police Command Public Relation Officer, SP Nnamdi Omoni promised to get back to our reporter on the incident.
