Two men were yesterday docked before an Igbosere chief magistrate’s court, Lagos, for allegedly stealing an armoured cable valued at N2.5 million.
The Lagos State Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID) accused the duo of Benjamin Ikechukwu, 32 and Anani Henry, 26, of stealing the cable from a real estate firm, Nicon Town Management Company Plc.
They were also alleged to have stolen the firm’s car and working permit stickers valued at N450,000.
Upon the not-guilty pleas, the chief magistrate, Aro Lambo, granted bail to them in the sum of N200,000, with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the matter to August 2, for mention.
