Funke Akindele, Tonto Dikeh and Ini Edo are all nominated for the Actress of The Year Award. Former BBA winner, Uti Nwachukwu was nominated for Actor of The Year Award, along with Van Vicker, Wale Ojo and Joseph Benjamin.

Nonso Diobi and Mercy Aigbe are to host the event. Executive producer of the awards, Seun Oloketuyi said they were chosen because “it is believed that they will add spark and fire to this year awards which is expected to be the biggest of the past editions.”
