The Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested two suspects for allegedly vandalizing electrical installations, which are classified as critical national assets.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the State Commandant of NSCDC, Idris Jibrin, represented by the Public Relations Officer, SC Buhari Sa’ad, identified the suspects as Salisu Mohammed, 18, of Idi Quarters, Gombe, and Mohammed Dahiru Babayo of Unguwar Dawaki.

Sa’ad stated that operatives recovered vandalized aluminum wires from a shop belonging to Salisu at Unguwa Uku.

He added that an investigation into the matter is ongoing, and the suspects will be charged to court upon its conclusion.
