The Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS), on Monday, arrested two robbery suspects in possession of a pistol and charms, while they were out to perpetrate crime at Oshodi metropolis at about 10 pm.
It was gathered that the RRS team was on patrol around Oshodi metropolis when they intercepted the suspects who were riding on a motorcycle.

The suspects, Lekan Abdulateef, 23, and Tajudeen Sanusi, 24, are both indigenes of Kwara State but reside at Ajegunle and Orile areas of Lagos respectively.
One of the suspects Lekan Abdulateef, who was in possession of the pistol at the time of arrest, confessed that he bought the gun for N100,000.00 from a vendor.
He also said that he has been using the pistol to rob motorists during traffic hold up around Ojota, Maryland, 7up, China Town, Eko Bridge and Mile 2 among others.
The Commander, RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi confirmed that the two suspects have been transferred to the Lagos State Police headquarters for discreet investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu.
