A magistrates’ court sitting in Ado-Ekiti has ordered the remand of two men, Ibalajobi Oluwaseun (35) and Oluwadare Ayodele (34), at the correctional custody in Ado-Ekiti over alleged conspiracy, rape, fraud and threat to life.

The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the defendants were reasonably suspected to have committed the offences of rape, fraud and threat to life against a 26-year-old woman contrary to Sections 421, 265(1), 329, 64, of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State 2021.

The Magistrate, Mr Abayomi Adeosun, ordered the remand of the defendants pending advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) and adjourned to January 19, 2026.
