Two teenagers, Abubakar Dahiru and Abba Bala, have been brought before an Upper Customary Court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, for allegedly stealing two goats.
They were charged with criminal conspiracy and theft, contrary to Sections 58 and 270 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.
The defendants pleaded guilty and begged the court for leniency.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Esther Bishen told the court that the complainant, Musa Makama of Borno Street, reported the matter at the Kafanchan Divisional Police Station on March 19.

Bishen said the defendants stole two of the complainant’s goats, with one of them found in their possession already slaughtered.
In his ruling, the presiding judge, George Gwani, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N15,000 each and a surety in like sum and adjourned till April 4. (NAN)
