2 teenagers nabbed for alleged phone theft

2 teenagers nabbed for alleged phone theft

The police in Lagos have arrested two teenage boys, Monday Ideba, 18, and Mubarak Abdullahi, 17, allegedly for stealing a bag containing a Tecno 18.0 phone, valued at N45,000, a Nokia 3310 and cash sum of N15,000,

The police said the items belonged to a lady, Fadekemi Samsideen.

The police alleged that the teenagers also unlawfully assaulted Samsideen by inflicting injuries on her neck, hand and leg, leaving her badly wounded.

According to the police, the suspects committed the crime on July 4, 2019 at No 46, Obalende Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The teenagers had been ordered remanded in police custody pending trial.
