An Abuja-based hospital, Silver Cross Hospital, in collaboration with Sharing Smiles Initiative and Pet Fernandes Foundation, has provided free blood pressure, glucose level check, ultrasound scanning, medical and surgical consultations; HIV, eye, malaria and cervical cancer screening to more than 200 persons in Gwagwa community in the FCT.
The Silver Cross team comprising medical doctors, nurses and pharmacists at a one-day medical outreach conducted medical screening, examination, tests and shared drugs and foodstuff to the beneficiaries.

The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Patrick Ezie, said that the outreach was aimed at reaching out to the less-privileged.
