The foundation conducted the medical outreach, in alliance with Trinity Methodist Church, Enugu and a group, Soroptimist International (SI), Coal City Chapter.
The founder of JOF, Prof. Joy Onyesoh, said the essence of the programme was to give free medical outreach to the poor women in Ogui area of the state and build a healthy culture for them.
According to her, the women whose blood levels were not normal would be given routine drugs.
She further stated that regardless of the different free health facilities the government provided in many communities and council areas, women still found it difficult to walk in and get checked.
