The Basketball clinic is being organized by Four-2-Four; a United State-based non-profit sports organization.

This year’s basketball clinic, the third of its kind, slated to dunk off at the Minna ultra-modern mini sports complex will attracts over 200 kids from the 25 local government areas of the state.

According to the Director of Four-2-Four sports organization, Mr. Jonathan Kolo in a press statement made available to sports reporters yesterday, this year’s clinic will feature children age between 5 to 10 years.

He explained that some of the skills to be acquired by the kids include 3 on 3 and free throw in addition to other skills competition for both boys and girls.

Kolo disclosed that medal and awards will be given to winners and participants at the end of the one week event.

Kolo hinted that the catch them young annual basketball and life clinic will from next year become a national event and be done on a zonal bases across the country, adding that we intend to reach out to our donors towards making this a reality.

“This is my little way of contributing my quota to the development of the game of basketball which I have played before and I love so well. I decided to start from the clinic for the children in other to catch them young”.

“We need to develop other sports in this country instead of focusing all attention on the game of football and it is on this note that I am appealing to all sports loving Nigerians to identify a sports and contribute their quota to develop it”, he stated.
