2,000 constituents get free eye care, surgery in Kano

At least 2,000 constituents of Wudil/ Garko Federal Constituency of Kano State have been selected to benefit from free eye surgery.

Speaking at the flag off ceremony, the lawmaker representing Wudil/Garko Federal Constituency, Abdulhakeem Kamilu Ado, said the initiative was part of his mission to address the issue of healthcare delivery in the area.

He said, “Healthcare delivery is part of what we give priority to, and we are committed to giving the best to our people. We all know the importance of health, especially the eyes.”

While praying for their quick recovery, he called on them to abide by the rules and prescriptions given to them by the doctors and physicians to ensure the desired results.

His media aide, Musa Ali Karama, said the beneficiaries were given glasses, operated on and given medication.
