After an intense display of poise, beauty and intelligence, the contestants population dropped to 10 by the panel of judges. Only Miss University of Port-Harcourt, Miss Benue State University, Miss University of Benin, University of Calabar and University of Uyo made it to the final five, out of which Ene-Ita was crowned queen by her predecessor, Onyanta Adama.
