The new car introduces a new design line for Peugeot, with a double-bubble roof inspired by Zagato (seen on the Bentley Continental GT by Zagato), a short clamshell bonnet and a stylish rear with integrated pop-up spoiler.

An interesting thing is that the new car offers a personalization programme for the roof arches which are offered in black, chrome or satin. The design is completed by 18 or 19 inch alloy wheels. Under the hood we find: a 2.0-litre HDi diesel capable to deliver 163 bhp and showing a fuel consumption of 52.3mpg (139g/km of CO2); a 1.6-liter gasoline engine delivering 156 bhp; the flagship model comes with the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine
from the Mini Cooper S capable to deliver 200bhp and to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds (top speed is 225 km/h or 140+ mph).
