 He explained , “the decision to support President Goodluck Jonathan came after a thorough observation of the administration’s zeal and commitment for the progress of the country.

According to him, having President Jonathan beyond 20 I 0 as the nation’s president would greatly help to bring good fortunes to Nigeria. He said President Jonathan’s mission is providing good leadership and good governance capable of making government and its institutions accountable to the people of Nigeria.

Barrister Namama, who is based in Abuja, further explained that voting President Jonathan as the next president means voting for the rule of law, transparency, due process and hard work among others. He  appealed to Nigerians to always put the interest of the country above their personal interest, saying that, “Nigerians must forget their selfish interests and put the nation in their minds through supporting Jonathan so as to ensure his total victory.”

The National Coordinator  explained that since he assumed office over three months ago, President Jonathan was doing his best to ensure unity and togetherness apart from the execution of developmental programmes such as the dredging of the River Niger, reviving of textile industries, appointment of credible INEC officials and the power supply in the country as well as enhancing the agricultural sector through ensuring the availability of all agricultural inputs at subsidized rates among others.

Barrister Namama said Democratic Action Alliance is an NGO formed with a view to support President Jonathan so as to ensure his victory during the  general elections.

He called on Nigerians to make sure they come out en-mass to register during  the voters’ registration exercise to enable them vote during the 2011 general elections.

Namama who is also contesting the House of Representatives slot for Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency, said his vision is to ensure excellent representation with a view to achieve unity, progress and economic development.

He however called on the members of the PDP in the country to remain united and to give all the necessary support and cooperation to the party’s leadership right from the wards to the national levels so as to ensure the party’s victory and stability.
