2011: The dilemma in Bauchi

The people are in doubt in finding someone who will match the current number one man in the state – Alh.Dr. Mallam Isa Yuguda (Matawallen Bauchi) who has achieved much in the state. I am not in support of, or against the government on the throne but to be sincere the Government has done what we the people in the state did not expect. Let me mention some of the achievements of the present administration in the State;

The renovation of A. D. Rufa’i College for Legal And Islamic Studies, Misau which  helped many indigenes and non indigene alike, to have knowledge in the field of Sharia Law, Education and recently the Communication aspect, payment of Registration Fees for final year students in the Secondary Schools in the whole state since the inception of the Government, introduction of the New Salary Scheme to civil servants, recruitment of staff into Cosmopolitan Cleaners and Spider Web Security in the state to help reduce unemployment among the youth, among others.

To be sincere, the people of Bauchi, who among the notable aspirants to the number one position in the state has any of the above mentioned qualities that can be matched with what he has done?  Let’s talk about Hon. IBRAHIM MAKAMA MISAU (Member Fed. House of Representatives Misau Dambam).  The man cannot pinpoint any thing to show that he has been in the National Assembly or any contribution to his Constituency of 2 Local Governot out of 20 LGs in the state. What will happen if he is the number one man in the state? What will people gain from him?

Senator Baba Tela also showed up for the position but let the people analyse what his being in the Senate contributed to his people that he will be proud to show in his battled to the Governorship position.

The people of Bauchi, better be cautious of whom you chose to be your leader in the state, so that you in turn will have what others call Dividends of Democracy. Let’s not waste our precious vote in voting for selfish politicians who only fight for their family alone to leave you in condition which Hausa People call “ Ka tura mota ta bar ka da Hayaki”

As 2011 is near let’s come out en mass to cast our vote to whom will be good to us and not to his faimly alone. Once again let’s put our formula of “A KASA A TSARE A KUMA RAKA A JIRA SAKAMAKO” to use. May Allah help us to Vote for the right man in the coming election.
