Project Director of the Democratic Governance for Development (DGD) Project, Dr. Mourtada Deme, said the conference is themed “Internarional Conference on Promoting Free, Fair and Credible Election in Nigeria and the role of Information and Communication Technology”.
“The Project provides technical and financial support to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Civil Society Organizations, and institutions such as the Media, National and State Assemblies, and Political Parties, as a means of strengthening accountable and responsive institutions, and consolidating Democratic Governance in line with international best practices,” Deme said.
