This was disclosed to journalists by the state comptroller of Immigration, Isa Jere. He said the illegal migrants were arrested during a mop up exercise ahead of the 2015 general elections, adding that the exercise would continue up to the time of the elections.
He warned foreigners resident in the state not to participate in the general elections, saying it is an internal affair of Nigerians.
Jere also told journalists that 90 per cent of the 430 migrants his command repatriated from January this year were from Niger Republic.
