2015: Masari embarks on town hall meetings with local communities

Speaking at Mani local government where he met with stakeholders from four local governments of Bindawa, Mashi and Dutsi, Masari said the time for change has come as such changes have to be in all ramifications, noting that “this new bottom to top approach is intended to provide the platform for the people to ask for what they want to have as soon as they are sworn into office.”
He said gone are the days when governors sit in the capital and execute projects for the local communities without knowing what they really want, saying his administration will not act that way.
He said lack of proper planning and execution of projects has been the  bane of the current administration in Katsina, saying it  has compounded the woes of the people.
He stressed the need for women to judiciously guard their voter cards to enable them participate in effecting change in the forthcoming polls.
